The square was renovated in 2021 as part of the Project "Reconstruction of Pejačević castles - large and small" worth almost 100 million kuna. The projects currently being implemented in Našice, the renovation of Pejačević castles, will change the look of the city. The Big Castle will be a museum with complete museum material, and the Small Castle is intended for the Music School of Countess Dora. By opening its doors as a space of the Našice Homeland Museum, it will contribute to the richer cultural, social and tourist life of this area. The fact is that Pejačević Castle is a cultural heritage on which the future cultural and tourist story is based, and with it the foundation of everything is the first Croatian and second European composer Dora Pejačević. Along with the Pejačević castles, Greger's villa is being renovated and the park is being arranged.

On Dr. Franjo Tuđman Square there is a fountain, Pejačević Castle, the City Administration, the Homeland Museum, the Croatian National Library and Reading Room, the Church of St. Antun Padovanski. During the year, major city events, events and festivals are held, such as the Days of Slavonian Forest, Našice Summer Nights, Winter Evenings, and the Day of the City of Našice, which is celebrated on June 13, on the feast of the patron saint.
