Cro Race

The 10th edition of the international cycling race CRO Race is held from September 30th to October 5th and bring together many famous names of the world cycling scene. It will host 20 cycling teams from Europe, Asia, America and Australia, through 6 stages, on a route longer than 1,000 kilometers which traditionally connects the coast with the continent, pass through eight counties and the City of Zagreb and include both already known and completely new destinations. CRO Race is also specific in that, in addition to well-known destinations, every year it tries to introduce some new areas into the story and in this way get closer to all parts of Croatia.

CRO Race is a sports event that not only promotes cycling as a sport, but by promoting natural beauty and cultural heritage puts Croatia on the map of the most attractive cycling destinations in the world and sends one of the most beautiful postcards in Croatia to the world.

Cycling, adrenaline, fans - get ready! 6 stages - 6 days - 925 km.

This year, cyclists will start in Split, while the finish line, as always, will be in Zagreb.

Stages:

1. 30.09. Split – Sinj (162,5 km)
2.  01.10. Biograd na Moru – Novalja (114,5 km)
3.  02.10. Gospić – Rijeka (150,5 km)
4.  03.10. Krk – Labin (190,5 km)
5.  04.10. Karlovac – Sveta Nedelja (150,5 km) 
6.  05.10. Samobor – Zagreb (156,5 km)

The end of the last stage and the announcement of the overall winner will be on Sunday, October 6 at around 3 pm in front of the National and University Library in Zagreb.

Along with professional cyclists, children will also compete this year, about five hundred of them aged 9 to 12 years as part of the KIDS CRO Race. The overall KIDS CRO Race winners will be announced along with the CRO Race winners.

The biggest cycling aces of today who recognized the importance of this event performed at previous editions of the race: Jonas Vingegaard, Mark Cavendish, Primož Roglič, Adam Yates, Matej Mohorič, Vincenzo Nibali and many others.The CRO Race, which has also found its place in the UCI's international race calendar, gathers and brings to Croatia the strongest names and teams from the UCI WorldTeams, ProTeams and ContinentalTeams competition level, which earned their reputation by climbing to the podium of the most important races in the cycling world.

There will be 20 teams at the start in Split, including seven from the prestigious "WorldTour" category, including INEOS Grenadiers, UAE Emirates-XRG and Bahrain Victorious.

Croatian cycling will be represented by only three cyclists at the anniversary edition of the CRO Race: the best among them is Fran Miholjević, rider of the Bahrain-Victorious team, and Nicolas Gojković and Ian Peran from the Pogi Team Gusto team from Ljubljana.

This year too, the most beautiful parts of Croatia are included in the race. Visitors and spectators from all over the world will, in addition to the exciting race, also enjoy a variety of natural beauties.

The race will be broadcast by numerous television stations from as many as 6 continents - in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia - in as many as 200 countries.
