Rijeka Ploče Beach, Kantrida Swimming Pool, webcam Live

Ploče beach is the largest beach in the area of ​​Rijeka. A long promenade with greenery and lighting and the area above the promenade greened with mediterranean plants and equipped with benches for rest and fully equipped beach, make this beach the most visited beach in Rijeka during the day, and in the evening it is an ideal place to walk and go out. Ploče beach is marked by  the Blue flag and in 2012 it received the award for the best-designed city beach in Croatia.
Right next to the beach there is a sports-recreational-entertainment complex, Kantrida swimming pools. The complex has won world awards. Along with the outdoor olympic pool by the sea, there are 5 pools of different sizes. The complex is primarily a sports facility, but also offers a range of facilities for recreation, relaxation and entertainment. Fitness and wellness are available to athletes and citizens, and within the complex there is a diving club and a travel agency. Visitors can relax in one of the 3 restaurants with a beautiful view of the sea, the islands of Krk, Cres and Lošinj, then Učka, Opatija and Lovran.
