Močvara is a sports center like most Dalmatian cities.It got its specific name because it was built on the site of a former swamp.As well as a good part of the rest of Ploče, the only real non-tourist town on the Dalmatian coast.

The Močvara sports center has finally been renovated.

In recent years, in August, the summer mini-football tournament "Ko to more platiti" has been held in Močvara, which is renowned in these parts of Dalmatia. This is a tournament with a number of special features, it regularly gathers many well-known minor football names, and the winners have a prestigious status until the new competition at the iconic Močvara.

Artificial grass was installed around the olive trees, a new acrylic surface was installed, and the northern part of the basketball court was covered with concrete formwork.The green area above Močvara has been cleaned, the fence on the eastern part of the sports center has been painted, the seats have been refreshed.
