Gradac

At the very end of the Makarska Riviera is Gradac, the largest town on the Upper Makarska Riviera and one of four picturesque tourist spots scattered along the fifteen kilometers of coastline. Gradac is the main tourist and administrative center of the municipality.

The rich archaeological finds tell of its past from the Roman times, the Middle Ages and up to the present day. Today Gradac is a well-known tourist destination with all the necessary catering and tourist facilities, as well as numerous ways for relaxation, rest and recreation.

The beautiful beach of Gornja Vala, south of the harbor, the longest on the Makarska Riviera, attracts many tourists. The fun of the summer season will certainly not be lacking. The most popular is the celebration of the Feast of St. Mihovil, then Brudetijada and the Home Products Fair.
