The islands of Cres and Lošinj are becoming the epicenter of trail running in Croatia.

The Cres & Lošinj Trail Weekend, the largest trail event in the country, will attract more than 1,600 runners from Croatia and abroad, who will enjoy the natural beauty and challenges of the island's trails.

As every autumn, this unique sporting spectacle connects two magical islands, leading competitors through unforgettable trails to hidden coves and breathtaking views.

Two races in two days on two Kvarner islands.

Cres & Lošinj Trail Weekend is a race consisting of two separate stages with three weight categories: PURPLE, BLUE and GREEN. Competitors choose in which category they want to compete and consequently choose one or both days of this unique event.It is not necessary to perform in the same category on both days. The idea was to connect and show the beauty of both islands and their hidden corners and protruding peaks in the style of a trail race.

The first stage is on the island of Lošinj on Saturday, November 1, and the second on the island of Cres on Sunday, November 2. After each race, the winner is announced, and after both races, the overall winners in the male and female competition for all categories - PURPLE, BLUE and GREEN - are announced.

First organized in 2016, the race now has over 500 registered competitors from 9 countries who will compete in three categories: Purple (long race), Blue (medium race) and Green (short race). The winner is declared after each race in the men's and women's categories, and the overall winner is the one who completes both long races in the shortest time.
