Sea Star Festival Umag

For the past three years, the Sea Star Festival has held the title of the second most visited festival in Croatia, and since its first edition, which took place in 2017, it has been building the trust and love of the audience that comes to Umag from as many as 40 different countries with its brilliant and precisely designed list of performers.

The combination of fantastic music in top production, the ideal landscape of the Istrian city of Umag, the Adriatic Sea, untouched natural beauty and superb gastronomy are the perfect recipe for the start of summer.

Already the first edition of the festival in the lagoon brought over 70 performers who performed on six brilliantly designed stages and put Umag and Istria on the music and festival map of the world. Over the years, the rich list has included various names of the world music scene, including the most important electro punk band of all time The Prodigy, New York rap icons Wu-Tang Clan, one of the world's best DJs Nina Kraviz, legend of the electronic scene Fatboy Slim, attractive DJ Robin Schulz and many others. Together with them, local and regional performers such as Dubioza kolektiv, Urbano, Kawasaki 3P, Nipplepeople, Eda Maajka and others performed. The first edition of the festival won the Ambasador music award as the Best New Festival and entered the Top 10 at the European Festival Awards in two categories - Best New and Best Medium Festival. Sea Star is officially part of the ‘Exit family’ group of festivals – the largest of these is, of course, Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.

The two main days of the festival will be Friday the 23rd and Saturday the 24th, while Thursday and Sunday are reserved for the Welcome Day and After Party.

On numerous powerful stages, the inimitable Sea Star gang will be joined by previously announced headliners, including two-time Eurovision winner and pop icon Loreen, psytechno leader Indira Paganotto, new wave techno leader I Hate Models and Berlin underground king Patrick Mason. The Electric Waves stage will be dominated by the previously announced strong local names: Antonio Zuza, Elena Mikac, Laseech, Marcel and Mimi.

The Sea Star gang is also coming to the hot summer opener! This year's unbeatable hip hop and trap lineup is led by the Balkan queen Senidah and the father of all megahits Grše, and the atmosphere in the Nautilus arena will be heated up by a dangerous trap team. The lagoon is being visited by the duo from the Zagreb Bronx 30zona, the prince of Zagore Peki, the rising trapper Baks and new stars Mick Lif, Špiro i Tej and Thicc Boi. Tommy Cash and Voyage will also perform. The biggest domestic and regional hits will thunder across Umag's Stella Maris lagoon.

Sunbathing during the day and dancing in the evening that will last until the early hours of the morning, Umag is an ideal choice for the beginning of summer. The magical lagoon will shine again this year with the May sun and the performances of numerous performers.
