From May to September, the local population organizes a Fisherman's Festival where you can enjoy the sounds of summer music and taste the Istrian fish specialties.

In September, in an abandoned quarry, it's organized "Montraker" - a summer sculpture school which is held every year.

The most famous Venetian adventurer and a womanizer of all time - Giacomo Casanova visited Vrsar twice and mentioned it in his memoirs where he described it as a place of top food and drink, and he highlighted the beauty of its women. Because of that, every year in his honor is held Casanovafest - a festival of love and eroticism.
