Jastrebarsko

Jastrebarsko and its surroundings, with a long tradition in tourism, are a favorite picnic spot of the people of Zagreb, and attract beautiful landscapes, wine-growing hills, nature reserves and numerous cultural and historical monuments (churches, monasteries and castles). There are several attractive excursion destinations in the vicinity of Jastrebarsko: the Crna Mlaka Ornithological Reserve, the Plešivica Wine Road and the highest peak of Samoborska gora - Japetić (879 m).

Every year in the area of the Žumberak Samoborsko gorje Nature Park, the Žumberak Trail is held - a popular international trail race that has a ten-year tradition. In the town of Jastrebarsko, the weekend when the race took place, all accommodation capacities occupied by the competitors and their entourage were filled.
