Circus Street Festival CU’FUS in Samobor

The Circus Street Festival in Samobor (CU’FUS) is dedicated to circus performing arts, and at that time the whole of Samobor became an open-air circus.

In 2011, a group of circus performing artists from Samobor launched this, now world-famous circus art festival, which is open to local and foreign circus and performing artists. The festival program offers an all-day program tailored to all age groups through circus street performances, circus skills workshops, children's program, music program and animation.

In the four days of the festival you can see a multitude of street, art, local and international artists and performances from the field of circus art. Through juggling, unicycle riding, wire walking, comedy, clowns, equilibrists, physical theater, performers, street theater, music, playing with visitors, laughter and joy will bring together different cultural affinities and different generations of citizens.

The goal of this festival is to complete the cultural, tourist, entertainment, but also gastronomic offer of the city of Samobor. The festival is of an international character and places Samobor in the circle of European cities that offer the circus as a new form of cultural and tourist offer to its fellow citizens and visitors.

The opening of the festival and the last show will take place on King Tomislav Square and you can follow them live on our webcams, while the rest of the festival program is held on the Matice hrvatske square and around the Samobor cinema.
