Adventure Race Croatia

The 6th edition of Adventure Race Croatia, the qualifying race for the Adventure Race World Series, will take place from 13 to 18 May 2024 across the stunning landscapes of Kvarner. Baška on the island of Krk will host this exceptional race.

This international, an epic adventure race  is considered one of the most popular in the world.  A total of 40 teams from some twenty countries have applied. Adventure Race Croatia is an indispensable part of the global adventure series Adventure Race World Series (ARWS), and since 2019, it has officially been a qualifying race for the Adventure Racing World Championship.

During the four days of the race, teams of four competitors, of whom at least one is of the opposite sex, will attempt to find all the checkpoints on an extremely demanding 550 km route with an altitude difference of 1,000 m. The race includes various disciplines from running and orientation to mountain biking, kayaking, hiking and rope climbing.

Teams must complete the race according to the precise instructions and map they receive from the organiser by passing through the checkpoints and transition points in the relevant discipline. The first team to reach the finish respecting all the rules and with all possible penalties taken into account is considered the winning team.
