The island of Hvar, the longest and sunniest (2718 hours of sunshine) Croatian island and, as many say, one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Back in 1991, the island of Hvar signed the Declaration of the Central Dalmatian Islands - an ecologically clean zone.
The island of Hvar is now richer for two new HD webcams that gives you the feeling of being live there. That feeling gives you HD image resolution, a better, sharper and more impressive view. The picture is natural, deeper and more vibrant colors, contrasts sharper, smoother movements, everything is more detailed - t view closest to the reality!
With two panoramic webcams that show us the beautiful Jelsa and two webcams through which you can peek into the very center of Jelsa and watch many important events throughout the year (procession Za Križen during Lent before Easter), and in the summer season to watch the summer bustle on the waterfront, you can now enjoy the beautiful beaches of Hvar. One webcam is in the small town of Zavala overlooking the pier and the surrounding beaches and the island of Šćedro, once an anchorage of ancient ships and today a protected nature park. The second webcam takes you to a beautiful beach in Ivan Dolac which is ideal for a break from the busy life and is suitable for families with children. Both places are well known for their numerous vineyards on the steep slopes where the best Hvar wines are made.
And you can only dream or watch this sunset scene with our new webcams!
