Valbiska is a ferry port located in the bay of the same name on the western part of the island of Krk, opposite the island of Cres. The bay is protected from both the bora and the south, the most common winds in that part of the Adriatic. From the bay you enter Srednja vrata, a canal between Krk and Cres.
Valbiska is 10.4 km from the town of Krk, and 27.9 km from the Krk Bridge. J
adrolinija ferries sail from Valbiska on the State Ferry Line No. 332 to Merag (and vice versa) on the island of Cres. The one-way trip takes 25 minutes. Since 2009, when the ferry line Baška - Lopar was abolished, a new line on the route Valbiska - Lopar on Rab has been introduced at the same time.
There is a restaurant and a gas station in the port.
