Terra Magica is one of the traditional races that put Istria on the map of mountain biking. It started as a stage race in the vicinity of Poreč and Pazin, then moved around Istria to settle in Rabac for the last five years, in the form of MTB marathons.

For many years now, the exciting trails of the Valamar Terra Magica have been attracting both professional and recreational MTB cyclists. On Sunday 15 September 2019, there's a real adventure awaiting you: the MTB marathon for the UCI C3 class and also the XCP / XCM Croatia Cup for the A and UCI C3 classes with three trails of 20, 50 and 75 km respectively. Whichever route you choose, you can rest assured that you can't go wrong. You'll have the opportunity to enjoy a great ride along Istria's gravel roads and lonely trails that meander along the coast and offer fantastic views of Istria and Kvarner. Trail surface varies from wide gravel roads to narrow goat paths along the coast, but it is well worth the effort, as the view you will get from the top, all sparkling sea and islands in the distance of Kvarner Bay, is pure magic. After a demanding race, you can find the prize in an embrace of the sea that will regain your strength. Swim along the most beautiful Istrian beaches in the crystal clear sea.
