Nikola Tesla EV Rally Croatia 2018.

The only rally of electric vehicles in the world and first held in this part of Europe is of international character. The basic idea of this rally is the cooperation and integration of partners, cities, places, tourist boards and all related institutions in order to promote green technologies and renewable energy sources, ecology, Croatian excellence and its natural beauties. Every year, this innovative and unique tourist project moves the boundaries and promotes Croatia in the best way in Europe and the world, breaking the records and seting new standards.

The 5th edition of the the most beautiful and the quietest rally in the world is being held under the patronage of President of Republic of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović and Mayor of City of Zagreb, Milan Bandić. Starts traditionally in Istria, in Rovinj 3.6. and will last until 10.6. with the finish in Zagreb. Even 8 days of driving on the 1550 km long route through amazing  landscapes, 5 islands and 6 national parks with plenty of attractions on the route officially called “Green electric route” that offers charging stations that are set on the most significant locations. All locations visited on the route were carefully selected to show best of Croatia cultural heritage, natural beauty and wine/gastro offer, offers of our luxury hotels Lone in Rovinju, Bellevue hotel in Mali Lošinj, Iadere in Zadar, hotel Esplanade in Zagreb.

And all this, of course, with the addition of adrenaline.

The stopping points on our electric adventure are Rovinj, Vodnjan, Vrsar, Buzet, Cres, Lošinj, Krk,  Pag, Zadar, Smiljan, Plitvička Jezera and Zagreb.

At each stopping point, participants will enjoy delicacies and top quality wine while resting for the next route. Driving on panoramic roads leaves the contestants breathless every year while exploring the interior of Istria, across the island of Cres, Lošinj, Krka and the island of Pag with amazing moon landscapes, the city of Zadar and the birthplace of Nikola Tesla in Smiljan and the beautiful Zagreb where will be held the finale of the ceremony award.
