Zubovići

In the northeastern part of the island Pag are the villages Vidalići, Kustići, Zubovići and Metajna, which together are called Barbati. These are small quiet places separated from the noise and crowd ideal for complete rest.

For Zubovići we can say it is the center of Barbati, although a small place with less than 200 inhabitants. Formerly an agricultural and fishing settlement, today it is primarily oriented towards tourism and has become a favorite tourist destination especially for families with children, but also for those who wish to entertain on a few kilometers away from the Zrce beach. The place is situated on a small hill, and the panorama is dominated by the Parish Church of the Immaculate Conception. Lack of vegetation and abundance of stones and here as well as on a large part of the island Pag, give a seal to the landscape, and especially a beautiful view is stretched to the Bay of Pag.

The beautiful pebble beach Veli Žal extends right in the center of Zubovići and to the other famous and hidden beautiful natural beach Dražica you can arrive by foot by twisted and narrow path only 200 meters away.

Exactly on the other side of Pag’s bay is the famous beach and camp Sveti Duh.
