Aquatika - Freshwater Aquarium Karlovac

A special feature of Aquatika is its contemporary design, a two-storey building with a ground floor and an underground floor. The aquarium building is blended into the natural environment. The building is completely covered with earth. The design concept is inspired by the embankments and moats of the Karlovac star. The aquarium complex is a modern, architecturally and landscape specially designed whole, which, with its architecture, especially green roofs, naturally fits into the surroundings of the recreational zone of the city of Karlovac. In the center there is a square with an entrance area, a gift shop, a cafe bar, a reading room and offices.
