Croatia Open 2025

The international orienteering competition - Croatia Open 2025 - will be held for the 28th time from August 1 to 3 on the karst terrains around Delnice and Sunger.

This is the most significant and unique event of its kind in Croatia, with a long tradition and great international reputation.

The attractive sprint race will be held in the very center of Omišalj on the island of Krk.

Thanks to the dedicated work of the organizing committee, previous editions have brought together thousands of competitors from more than 40 countries. The quality of the organization has also been recognized by the International Orienteering Federation (IOF), which has awarded this event the status of a World Ranking Event on several occasions.

This year, more than 300 competitors from 25 countries from as many as 3 continents are expected, confirming the importance of this sporting event.

Orienteering combines physical fitness, resourcefulness and knowledge of nature, offering a unique experience of active recreation in untouched nature and urban environments. It is a sport that encourages individual responsibility, develops map reading and compass skills, and at the same time promotes environmental awareness and a healthy lifestyle.

As every year, the organizers have prepared medals for the best competitors and trophies for the most successful clubs of this year's competition.

And each of them will be delighted with a bottle of original olive oil from the island of Krk.
