In  Fužine, an irresistible mountain riviera, there is a toboggan run in the area of Plasa in Vrata.

During the winter season hen snowing, sledding is possible with the use of a baby lift, i.e. a conveyor belt that transfers sledders from the bottom of the slope to the top of the toboggan run.

In the future, snowmaking is planned, not only for the toboggan run, but also for a smaller ski area, as well as the installation of a smaller cable car. The ultimate goal at the Plasa location is to create an excellent small family sledding and skiing area and turn Vrata into a sports center of Fužine.

But it is possible to have fun here even when there is no snow.

In September, the tubing track, an exciting new adrenaline attraction, was opened. This innovative, sporting event, extremely popular in Western Europe all year round, is an ultra-attractive version of sledding where the snow is replaced by a plastic track and the sleds are large, inflated, specially adapted downhill tires. Visitors can expect an extremely exciting experience of autumn sledding when they will be able to show their skills in overcoming challenging turns while accelerating their driving speed during the descent. Of course, the track is safe at every meter, and there is a stop pad at the finish line. This investment confirms the commitment of the Municipality of Fužine to the development of tourist facilities that can enrich the experience of visitors throughout the year.
