It's time to start planing holidays, and if you want to find the perfect location that will suit you and your pet, we have decided to list several 'dog friendly' beaches in Croatia. Whether you want to spend a holiday in Dalmatia, Istria or Kvarner, you will be able to find an ideal bathing destination for your four-legged friends.

'Dog friendly' beach on Krk

There are several beaches on Krk, which will welcome your pets, and one of the most famous is Punta Šilo. It is a pebble beach with landscaped parking and a spacious place where your pets can run all day.

Vartalac beach or so-called 'Dog beach' is a wonderful place for all-day enjoying of owners and their pets. It is surrounded by rocks of volcanic origin and lush vegetation.

Apart from being able to enjoy a swim in the clean sea, there is a lot of space for your dogs, so they can enjoy complete freedom.

'Dog friendly' beach in Makarska

Cvitačka Beach is an official dog beach located two kilometers from the center of the town. Totally clear sea and beautiful pebble make this beach a perfect location for all the owners and their little ones.

There is more than enough place for running, as well as perfect shade of pine forest.

'Dog friendly' beaches in Rijeka, Opatija riviera and its surroundings

If you are looking for a perfect beach where you will spend a day with your family, children and your little friends, then the beach of Kantrida in Rijeka is the right place for you!

The beach is divided into stone and pebble, and if you come with a car, you have a free parking.

Some of the beautiful, accessible and 'dog friendly' beaches are also the beaches of Brajdica and Mikulova Kava at Kostrena.

Between Opatija and Ičić, along the Lungomare promenade there is a pebble beach Punta kolova which also wait for small paws this summer, just like the beach in Lovran.
