Miss Croatia is an organisation in Croatia dating back to 1992 and a member of the Miss World family. Miss World is the oldest running international beauty pageant and has been held annually since 1951. Miss World is an organisation that focuses on humanitarian efforts and was publicly supported by Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela, whose grandchildren were made Miss World honorary partners.
The highest placement for Croatia in the competition came from Anica Kovač, ex Martinović, the First Runner-up in the Miss World competition, while Fani Čapalija and Branka Bebić both won the title of Queen of Europe.
Also, Miss Croatia is the oldest beauty competition in our area and promotes our counties through beauty competition; folk costumes, promotes Croatian craftsmen and designers, promotes the education of young people. This year, the preparations for the Miss Croatia election are being held in the County of Sisak-Moslavina, and the final competition in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in Mali Lošinj at the central square. As every year, the Miss Croatia Headquarter wants to connect the beauty of Croatia with the beauty of girls and counties where they come from. This year, it decided to do a project and connect continental and coast of Croatia. The girls will be presented in their beauty postcards - a blend of different beauties. The main square in Mali Lošinj, our champion of tourism, will become one big stage where the beauty of the girls will be presented as the beauty of the city and the county they come from and a promotional postcard of each individual county will be sent to the world.
Which one of them will take the title of the most beautiful Croatian we will find out on August 31, 2019. Watch livestream from the main square in Lošinj via our webcams!
