Ivanja Reka is a settlement on the periphery of the city of Zagreb, which on its western side borders with the settlement of Resnik, while on the northern side it is separated from the settlement of Sesvete by Slavonska Avenue, a busy artery of Zagreb. On the east side of the settlement, the border with Hrušćica is part of the Zagreb bypass (part of the A3 Zagreb-Lipovac motorway), and on the south side of the Sava river, this settlement separates this settlement from the municipalities of Ščitarjevo and Obrezina.
In the 20th century, due to its good geographical and traffic position, this area gradually changed into the landscape we know today due to its good geographical and traffic position. In addition to the fact that the settlement is located along the Posavina highway to which local roads are connected, in the area of Ivanje Reka today there is a junction of major state highways, and the settlement itself is well connected with other settlements in Zagreb.
Due to its position, Ivanja Reka, near the industrial and working center of the metropolis, underwent a transformation characteristic of suburban settlements and began to record rapid development and demographic change and belongs among the medium-sized small settlements in Zagreb.
Through our two new webcams in this settlement, you can watch the church of St. John the Baptist on the main road leading through the settlement and one of the most modern schools in Zagreb County.
