Saturday, September 5th – Main Gastro Spectacle and Concert in Lič

On Saturday, the center of Lič transforms into a bustling hive of fun and premium flavors:

• Live Culinary Show: Celebrity chefs David Skoko and Damir Perman will prepare imaginative, modern dishes infused with medun right in front of the audience.
• "Gorski kotao" Workshop: Discover the secret to baking the perfect homemade sourdough bread with honey.

The final day of the festival is ideal for recharging your batteries and staying active:

• Medun Bike Tour: A guided family cycling tour showcasing the stunning landscapes of Fužine, Lič, and Ličko Polje.
• Green Market in Fužine: Buy fresh, authentic forest medun, bee products, and native wild berries directly from local family farms (OPGs) right in the center of Fužine.

What is Forest Medun exactly, and why is it so special?

Unlike regular honey made from flower nectar, forest medun (honeydew honey) is a unique natural phenomenon. It is produced from honeydew that bees collect from the leaves of mountain fir and maple trees in ecologically pristine forests.
