After arriving on Rab for the first time last year, Epic Rides is coming back on Saturday, September 28, 2024. They will once again ride through the beautiful landscapes of the island of Rab on the 7th Epic Rides of this season.
Rab offers a fascinating variety on a relatively small area, and the views it offers are spectacular. It is an ideal opportunity to explore natural beauty on a bicycle.
On Saturday, all participants gather in the city of Rab, where the start and finish will be. The start time is at 10:30 am.
The main race is 53.2 km, has 650 meters of ascent, and 55% of the course is off road.The SHORT race is shorter, runs 41.3 km, has 480 meters of ascent and 45% of the course is off road.
EPIC RIDES The Rab route will take you from the charming town of Rab to discover the variety of natural beauties and hidden corners of the island with breathtaking views to wooded areas where deer, mouflons and roe deer roam. Finally, a ride along the sea itself will bring you back to Trg sv. Kristofora na Varoš, where you will be greeted by a meal, refreshments, socializing and a fantastic atmosphere after the ride.
And this time, this cycling event is being held with the support of the Tourist Board of the city of Rab.
