5 Croatian beaches on the list of the most beautiful beaches in Europe

One of the most popular British magazines, "The Guardian", published a list of 40 of the most beautiful European beaches, including five Croatian beaches. Maslinica, Šolta

"A small, fishing village with a sweet pebble beach at the beginning of the harbor..." In these words, "The Guardian" described Maslinica on the island of Šolta. Well, this is not the first acknowledgment for Maslinica. It boasts the title of the third best tourist resort for up to a thousand inhabitants on the Adriatic as well as the national prize for the most successful authentic seaside destination.

Valun, Cres

Another pebble beach has proudly taken its place on this list. It is a beach Valun located on the west side of the island of Cres. "The Guardian" highlighted a relaxed atmosphere that prevails over the entire island, and as the main positive features of the Valun, they mentioned thick pine forests that provide excellent shade, loungers for resting and kayaks for all active swimmers.

Čikat cove, Mali Lošinj

"The Guardian" described Čikat in Mali Lošinj as a perfect beach for family vacations, thanks to the rich offer of content for all ages as well as for those who prefer a quiet or active holiday. They also pointed out that the Čikat was once a favorite destination for Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franjo Josip, who fell in love with the scents of pine trees and the healing air.

Blaće, Mljet

The beautiful sandy beach of Blaće is located on our greenest island, but also on the list of the most beautiful European beaches. Murvica, Brač

Only a few kilometers away from the popular beach Zlatni rat, there is another magical bathing destination - Murvica. The way to the beach is also beautiful and surrounded by beautiful olive groves and vineyards. Murvica is perfect place for relaxation in own peace and quiet with a view of the crystal clear sea and our beautiful island of Hvar.
