The tallest building in Croatia officially
On the second tower of the West Gate project at the entrance to Split on Kopilica, the last element of the architectural design of Split's 27-storey Dalmatia Tower was placed, with the Croatian flag flying as a symbol of completion. Dalmatia Tower , full height of 135 m, has officially become the tallest building in Croatia.
By installing the last element of architectural design, the conditions were created for the beginning of the dismantling of the largest construction crane in the region, which is 150 meters high.
The Dalmatia Tower will house the AC Hotel Split by Marriott, the first Croatian hotel under the brand of one of the most prestigious hotel groups in the world. The hotel occupies 11 floors (from 17 to 27), and the opening is expected this summer, more precisely in early July. AC Hotel Split by Marriott has 214 accommodation units, 210 rooms and 4 suites. Thanks to the specific shape of the tower, all rooms have a sea view. In addition to 5 modular conference rooms with a total capacity of 300 people, guests will also have at their disposal a spa & wellness center with indoor pool and gym, à la carte restaurant, bar and lounge. The hotel part of the business center (HTC) will house the regional offices of internationally recognized IT companies, including Rimac Automobili.
Dalmatia Tower is part of the Westgate Split project, which consists of 2 towers and have already become a recognizable element of the view of Split. The Westgate Split project was designed by Otto Barić, and the investor was awarded the International Property Award in 2018 - the award for the best high-rise business building in Europe.
