Selce is widely known for its beauty, and in addition to enjoying the exceptional beauty of the beautiful beaches, bays and clear sea, history lovers will also find something for themselves in Selce.

A small coastal town that charms with all its facilities and natural beauty, on August 4, 1894, it got its first public swimming pool. Besides being an important part of tradition, that day is considered the beginning of organized tourism in the place. In honor of that, the event was once called the Venetian Night, and later it was named Days of Tourism. This year's  Tourism DDays will be held on August 3 and 4. The evening is reserved for a caravan ride in boats, which are illuminated by lanterns and decorated with ash branches, and are led by a large sailing ship. Visitors can expect a festival with live music, and at midnight there will be fireworks from the sea.

If you like longer walks, Selce is connected to Crikvenica's beautiful Riviera. An 8-kilometer hiking trail stretches from Slana bay in Selc to Cape Kačjak in Dramlje. The part of the path that leads from the Slana cove in Selc to the Kaštel hotel in Crikvenica is called the health walk and passes through this picturesque town - it stretches along a series of gentle coves, green gardens and parks. Selce has even been declared the most organized tourist place in Kvarner 4 times. This cute coastal town has been crowned with the Blue Flower as the most organized place on the Adriatic. Selce is a small, modest town, once home to fishermen and masons, and today a colorful place for an unforgettable vacation.

The main attraction of Selce are definitely the beautiful beaches, the two most famous and most attractive are the Poli Mora beach and the Rokan beach. Poli Mora beach stretches along a small peninsula and bears the Blue Flag, which guarantees the cleanliness of the sea, and has all the entertainment and catering facilities needed to spend a real summer day on the beach.

A large number of restaurants that prepare traditional local food and food for everyone's taste will surely delight you. It is precisely these restaurants and smaller taverns that in a way maintain the tradition of Selce and the spirit that adorns it over a long period of time.

Enjoy the rich cultural-entertainment, music and wine-gastro program, let Selca serve you the sea and tradition on a plate, a vineyard in a glass, the warmth and love of the host in your heart.

Selce is currently visited by 5,700 tourists, three times more than permanent residents, and bookings are 30% higher than last year. It is rightly called the Little Maldives.
