Flower market in Istria

The Flower market, the 16th  Flower Festival in the heart of southern Istria, in Svetvincenat on the Square in front of the Morosini Grimani Castle, lasts until April 2. Flower market is a traditional fair that become an integral part of Svetvincenat, recognizable and attractive, in economic, tourist and educational terms. The fair is visited by a large number of people: from flower lovers to owners of various agritourism estates, apartment renters and hotel owners from all over Istria and part of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, as well as off-season foreign and local guests.

The Flower market presents flower growers from all over Croatia, which offers a great choice for everyone, from flower seedlings, ornamental and spice plants, through pots and trees, all the way to aromatic plants, so all plants that decorate backyards and gardens in preparation for the tourist season . The fair exhibits flowers grown exclusively in nurseries throughout Croatia, grown at home and will succeed more easily when transplanted.

The fair is of great importance for the Municipality of Svetvincenat because it creates quality content in the pre-season and encourages landscaping. The tidy environment makes people happier and leaves a lasting impression in the visitor and a desire to return.

The Flower market is accompanied by other special events. Kindergarten children dressed in spring costumes will walk along the square and the school has its own humanitarian stand, while Saturday is dedicated to music.
