A gastronomic event that celebrates the symbol of the island of Pag - Pag cheese, and Kolan, as the cradle of its production, has long been recognized and recognized for Pag cheese on the world map, as evidenced by numerous international recognitions and awards.

The cheese festival is traditionally held on the last Friday in August at the initiative of the Association of Pag Cheese producers and gathers the best cheese producers from the island of Pag and cheese lovers. 40 producers will come to the Cheese Festival, which also carries the HOP designation as an intangible cultural asset, and it is a great honor that it is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia. The event presents Pag cheese, which is still made in the autochthonous way, and this year we have prepared the richest program so far!" announces Sabina Gligora Sabalić, director of the Tourist Board of Kolan Municipality, which together with Kolan Municipality is the organizer of this event.
