Karlovac Cener

The 14th edition of the Karlovac Center will be held on June 11th and 12th in Karlovac, with the main race starting on Friday, June 12th at 8:30 PM at the School Sports Hall in Rakovac. This popular running spectacle, which holds the status of a World Athletics Bronze Label Race and is known as the fastest 10 km race in Croatia, offers a rich sports and family program.

Karlovac Cener is a road athletics race with a total length of 10 km. The race consists of 3 laps of 3,285m. At the start, in the historic Karlovac Zvijezda, more than 1,500 runners are expected, both for the entire 10 km and in the popular relay races. The new Karlovac Cener course starts and ends at the School Sports Hall and, after the initial lap around Rakovac, leads through Domobranska, Tomislavova and Radićeva Streets, then over Ruski Put to Korana, with a total length of 3.3 kilometers per lap, which is run three times and again passes through the old city center of Karlovac. The Karlovac Mile is a unique race with a length of 1,579m (the year the City of Karlovac was founded), an ideal length for family gatherings and performances by the whole family. One lap is run and the course is flat.

An hour before, elite runners will be at the start, in the strongest lineup ever, which means we will truly be watching the fastest Karlovac centurion, which automatically means the fastest top ten in Croatia!

After the race, all runners can expect plenty of beer, a meal and a rock concert, and guaranteed fun in the city on four rivers.
