Brač Run

A race with spectacular views and an even more spectacular atmosphere.

The international cross race 'Brač Run' from Selci to Sumartin will be held on June 21st on the island of Brač. It runs along the attractive landscape of the eastern coast of Brač (Selca, Povlja, Novo Selo, Sumartin), through centuries-old olive groves, preserved nature and panoramic roads with a view of the sea. This beautiful race offers runners pleasure at every kilometer - from running through centuries-old olive groves to panoramic roads with views of the sea, the Dalmatian islands and the beautiful Bikovo.

The goal of the race is to enrich the offer of the island of Brač, and thus promote the destination as well as the development of the tourist product through the organization of a sports event that becomes a recognizable brand, not only of the destination of Selc, but also of the entire island of Brač.

As part of the event, there will be 5- and 10-kilometer races with a start in Selci, and after the race for adults, there will also be a 'Kids Run' with a start in Sumartin. New this year is a swimming race in the crystal clear Sumartin Bay, which will attract not only runners but also swimming enthusiasts, and will take place on June 22. The race traditionally brings together more than 300 competitors and 200 members of their families, creating a unique atmosphere of sports gathering. After the race, participants and guests can enjoy a party with a DJ and delicious food.
