130 years of tourism in Crikvenica

Is there a better destination than Crikvenica to be a meeting point for health, tourism and knowledge, just in the year when it celebrates 130 years of organized tourism?

In 2018, 130 years have passed since the first public bathing area was built in Crikvenica and that was the beginning of the development of organized tourism in our town. On the occasion of marking 130 years of tourism in Crikvenica we have prepared a special multi-day programme (from 7th - 10th of November). Visitors will enjoy "Crikvenica once and for all" expecting a rich gastronomic offer, entertainment for all ages with timeless music hits and imaginative interactive elements and dance programs.

The opening event is the promotion of the revised edition of the Monograph of the City of Crikvenica, issued on the occasion of 130 years of tourism. The promotion will take place on November 7 in the City Hall in Crikvenica at 6 pm.

8th and 9th November at the Hotel Omorika, the 6th Conference of Health Tourism, CIHT - Crikvenica International Health Tourism will be held. Recognized experts from all over the world will share their knowledge and experience with conference participants in the form of interesting and educational presentations and three workshops. A tour of health institutions in Kvarner is also planned.

On Saturday, November 10th, at the main Crikvenica square a manifestation called "Health Day" will be held. "In a healthy body, healthy spirit!" is the main moto of it.

The work of Crikvenica health institutions and associations - "Thalassotherapia Crikvenica", Poliklinika "Terme Selce", Poliklinika "Katunar", Center for Health and Beauty "Fiziovita", Obstetrics and Gynecology "Oxy", Association "Kušac" Red Cross "Crikvenica will be presented to all visitors. Their expert teams will be available to citizens for all questions and various measurements, counseling in the field of physical medicine, dermatology and individualized weight loss programs for children and adults will be carried out, with advice on skin and body care with natural cosmetics, inhalation demonstration and so on. There will be workshop with Martina Linarić on the topic of raw food, followed by theory - group training and workshop on exercise and healthy diet with well-known trainer Mario Mlinarić.
