Exploring the Croatian coast by boat

Exploring Croatia by boat is a unique experience. The country’s coast is one of the most famous European vacation destinations, and it is definitely the first choice for many when it comes to boating and sailing.
Depending on whether you are an experienced sailor or a beginner, you can choose between two options when renting a boat - with or without a skipper. A captain or skipper with local knowledge may be a good choice if you want to rent a sailboat for a day and experience sailing in its purest form. On the other hand, setting sail alone means limitless freedom to explore hidden beaches, and perhaps find a perfect bay just for you. But remember: the second option requires a boat licence!
Apart from sailing boats that you can rent in Croatia, the country also offers a different type of boat - party boats. We all know that there is nothing quite like boating on a blazing summer day. Imagine spending your holiday in one of the biggest cities in Croatia and having the chance to meet a lot of other party people like yourself. This all is possible if you take part in the Sunset boat party Split. So, enjoy the sea breeze with a cocktail in your hand, dance the night away and make amazing memories!
Explore islands and hidden coves
Hiring a boat in Croatia is quite easy, but choosing what to visit might be much harder, as the choice is immense. Depending on your location, Kornati National Park and the nearby Telašćica Nature Park with its high cliff, as well as the Kvarner Islands, could be some of the best experiences.
If you feel like relaxing and enjoying the sun, a boat trip to a beautiful and remote beach is definitely the best solution. You have probably seen Zlatni Rat beach all over Croatia’s postcards, and there are many more beautiful beaches to explore. Some of the beaches that will enchant you are definitely Sakarun Beach, Cape Rt Kamenjak in Istria, Lubenice Beach on the island of Cres, the majestic Paradise Beach on the island of Rab or Punta Rata on the Makarska Riviera.
So, in Croatia, you will find some of the most famous bays and beaches in the world, thanks to the crystal clear turquoise sea and unspoiled nature that will take your breath away. However, due to the indentedness of the coastline, there are a large number of coves hiding fantastic beaches, and if you want to relax, stay out of sight and swim away from the crowds, you will find your peace there.
Some of the wonderful hidden beaches are Pasjača Beach in a small village in Konavle which you can only reach by going down long and very steep stairs, the ‘Croatian Maldives’ on the island of Palagruža, Punta Velebit Beach in Zadar region which offers complete solitude, and Kukinica Beach not far from Duboka Draga, ideal for an escape from reality.
Rent a party boat
Croatia offers not only numerous islands, but also amazing party destinations for young people, but also those young at heart. Party people definitely get their money’s worth on the Croatian Adriatic! Numerous clubs and discos have settled along the coast, heating up their guests with hot sounds.
For example, Novalja on the island of Pag holds the ‘Croatian Ibiza’, a beautiful pebble beach Zrće, which is also a party mecca. Many clubs and beach bars host parties during the day and at night. You can explore many other party islands, such as Hvar, where parties are nonstop and never seem to end. Pag, Brač, Vis and many other islands also have amazing nightlife.
So, Croatia doesn’t only offer beautiful landscapes, various cultural events, great beaches, fantastic sea and fun, it is also shaping up to become one of the most famous party destinations. Festivals such as Ultra Europe Music Festival that takes place in Split only help Croatia find its place on the map of partygoers.
