The magic meeting - Advent in Karlovac

Advent in Karlovac came to the top Christmas card map.

The associations Out of Focus, which showed its professionalism and get all the praises last year, take out the organization of event this year too which is decided by the City of Karlovac.

This time, the magic of Advent's meeting will last a day longer with more stands and one stage more.

17 days, the most frequented city walkway, with the Musical Pavilion will be the central venue for events with 124 performances, over 1000 participants from more than 15 places and cities of Croatia in the period from 14 to 30 December. In addition to numerous programs all visitors will enjoy the boiled wine, winter cocktails, sausages, Christmas cakes, traditional and innovative dishes.

At exactly 6pm, the Christmas lights will give a special holiday spirit to the Karlovac promenade, Šanac, the heart of the city and the biggest Christmas tree in Croatia, and then begins as the organizers called it - the magic of Advent's meeting. The event will open its doors to visitors every day from 4pm up to 11pm and on weekends Advent will be able to visit from noon and enjoy the program and delicacies until midnight. The program is divided into 3 units: family, traditional and evening. The diversity of the catering offer will allow visitors to try out something new and experience the magic of taste every day. Soon You will be lost in the word of goodwill people who browse the charming stands on the promenade seeking gifts for their loved ones or simply enjoying the good vibrations, music, food and drinks.

The biggest attraction for the youngest is certainly the everyday photographing in the glass house of Santa Claus and the Šumek's playroom. There will be sledges, wooden rooms and other wood sculptures and there will be a few open fireplace.

The traditional program will gather performers from various parts of Karlovac County, but also wider, and the program will be held at the Music Pavilion.

This year's evening Advent brings you the renowned names of the Croatian music scene and you will be able to enjoy great concerts and an even better atmosphere every night.

The Advent charity note in Karlovac is displayed through the stand of the association "Jak kao Jakov" where visitors can buy souvenirs and handicrafts of the Association and help the needy ones.
