The Kornati Cup is a regatta in one of the most beautiful corners of Europe and one of the most important Adriatic regattas. The international sailing regatta brings together participants from many different countries and attractive races, short and medium races along the beautiful Kornati archipelago, most interesting sailing area of the Adriatic –the nautical paradise - Kornati national park.
Kornati Cup has a sports tourist character with a long tradition. It all started with 23 sailboats in 1985 and it was the first such regatta. This year, the Kornati Cup is being held for the 20th time and means the development of nautical tourism and the extension of the nautical season. There are 450 competitors, 74 vessels, over 15 nations (over 50% is German-speaking).
After the open-air opening, the first start starts from Murter towards the island of Žut, and on the last day, two races in front of the island of Murter on the Murter Sea and the announcement of the winner are planned.
