Night race in Samobor

In May 1961, the first Night Race "Liberation of Samobor" was run through the streets of the town of Samobor. The race that was once run by schoolchildren, today is a real city race that connects sports and the beauties of Samobor. After being held at the city stadium for a while, love of running brought the Night Race back to where it started, King Tomislav Square.

The start and finish are in the center of Samobor on King Tomislav Square. The trail is new and completely flat, it is 5 km long and you run 2 laps through the city streets. The three best in the women's and men's categories win cash prizes. It is enough to run 5 km faster than the others. The night race of the City of Samobor, special in that it runs through the streets of the city center, offering a view of some of the most important sights of Samobor, and also abundant in natural beauty! Running at dusk, you have the opportunity to see off the day in a special environment and be cheered on by enthusiastic fans! Before and after the race, you have the opportunity to walk, explore and feel the magical energy of the historic city of Samobor!
