Krk Fair Lovrečeva is a three-day event with a rich program that has always attracted many visitors to the city of Krk.
The Krk Fair was held for the first time in 1524, since when it has been held with occasional interruptions. In the Middle Ages, merchants from all over Europe came to the Krk Fair. In those ancient times, ships full of goods from all over the world sailed into the port of Krk.
The basic goal of the event has not changed much over the centuries. In modern times, the Krk Fair has become a tourist attraction and is traditionally held in August on the day of St. Lawrence.
The event will feature exhibitions of medieval knights’ equipment, short plays and performance shows, knight tournaments, workshops for children, presentations of knightly skills, street performances of folklore ensembles, brass bands and local multipart signing groups and, of course, a fair of authentic traditional and products made by small producers and family farms from Krk and the rest of Croatia.
This year, the Krk waterfront will once again become a meeting place for numerous foreign and domestic visitors, who can expect a rich musical program and performances by top performers. During all three days of the Krk Fair, numerous famous names will perform: hitmaker Tonči Huljić & Madre Badessa, energetic entertainers Grooversi, Night Express, Infinity Band Croatia, and popular DJ Luca Montecchi, who will once again be in charge of a big disco party on the waterfront. The very end of the program is scheduled to feature a performance by the legendary Doris Dragović.

The program will take place in different city locations. The central part of the manifestation - a fair of traditional products of small producers and OPGs from the area of the island of Krk, but also from the rest of Croatia - will be scattered around the city, while the entertainment part will take place in the evening hours on the Krk waterfront.

Thanks to its strong identity and attractive concept, Lovrečeva has also been recognized at the national level as the winner of the annual Croatian tourism award for the tourist event of the year at the Croatian Tourism Days 2024, as well as recognition for its contribution to the development of tourism in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
