The beautiful Karlovac, a town on 4 rivers, this year celebrates - almost half a thousand years of existence - 439th birthday. Karlovac is one of the few towns in Croatia that knows the exact date of its creation - July 13, 1579.

In a rich and varied program you will be able to enjoy a full 3 weeks and have the opportunity to meet many city locations and enjoy every step in the program of summer festival. From 23rd of June and the Ivan’s bonfire to the traditional birthday party, when on July 13, on 439 dance couples will dancing on Jelačić square, there is a variety of programs available for all generations at various city locations - the Musical Pavilion, the basketball court in Šanac, Zora’s House, Ban Jelačić Square. During the celebration you can visit attractive festivals and events such as the International Summer School Guitar, the KAKAFE Theater Festival, the Flautist Academy, the International Festival of Folklore and the city of four rivers also host numerous theaters with great performances. There is also the famous Foginovo swimming resort, one of the registered river swimms in Croatia, the winner of the Green Flower and the Tourist Flower, in the very center of Karlovac on the Korana river, where you can refresh yourself after all the activities and events. Karlovac will host more than 100 events at various locations.
