The capital city of baseball in Croatia this year is definitively Karlovac. Olimpija's 83th place has been at the top of the Croatian, but also the European baseball for years.
Valuable acknowledgment to Karlovac baseball players and baseball quality in the city on four rivers, perhaps an opportunity to reach the second European title on domestic field from June 10th to June 15th at the Grabrik playground, when a Federation Cup Cup qualification tournament is held. Let us recall, in 2006, the Karlovac baseball team won the European CEB Cup (equivalent to the UEFA Cup Cup), which is the greatest success of Karlovac sport in history.
Six teams are playing. The most serious rival of Karlovac should be the Belgian team Borgerhout Squirrels, as well as other quality players - Swedish Leksand, Swiss Therwill Flyers and two Austrian teams: Dornbirn Indians and Vienna Metrostars.
Anyway, there is no doubt that baseball lovers will come again on their own in June and we believe that Karlovac will be successful and at least reach the final result.
