Sesvete

Sesvete is one of the 17 Zagreb city districts located on the eastern edge of the city of Zagreb. They lie along the Zagreb-Bjelovar road and the Posavina railway.

Today, Sesvete is the most numerous and territorially largest city district in the city of Zagreb and covers an area of a quarter of the Croatian capital. Sesvete has become the fifth largest city in Croatia in terms of number and is therefore unique in Croatia and an indicator of how much the population can mean for the strength of a particular community. The population of Sesvete is among the youngest in the country.

Sesvete is the largest city district, among the leading settlements in the Republic of Croatia in terms of population growth, with great development potential, which unfortunately is not accompanied by the development of communal infrastructure, development of roads, public areas, public facilities, culture or sports.
