WRC Croatia Rally

WRC World Rally Championship, 5th edition,  will be taking place from April 18 to 21 at 20 attractive special stages through five Croatian counties – Zagreb County, Karlovac County, Krapina-Zagorje County, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and Varaždin County.

Croatia has had the opportunity to organize a World Championship run for the first time in 2021, which took place in Zagreb and the surrounding area. Following the excellent assessment of the overall impression, the organizer was given the opportunity to sign a three-year contract to organize a World Rally Championship event. The importance and the success of this event has been recognized by the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the City of Zagreb, that decided to provide co-funds for the organization of the competition in 2022 and in the following years.

WRC (World Rally Championship) is, along with F1, the most popular motorsports competition in the world, which is regularly broadcast by over 250 TV stations and watched by about 850 million people worldwide.

The ceremonial start and finish in Zagreb. The total length is 1402 kilometers.

68 crews from 35 countries around the world will perform. The best rally drivers in the world are coming to Croatia, such as last year Croatia Rally winner Welshman Elfyn Evans, Toyota GR driver who is defending his title again this year, and eight-time world champion, Frenchman Sebastien Ogier, current leader in this year's championship, Belgian Thierry Neuville, young Frenchman Adrien Fourmaux, world champion from 2019, are also arriving in Croatia. , Estonian Ott Tanak, Japanese Takamoto Katsuta, Norwegian Andreas Mikkelsen and Luxembourgian Gregoire Munster. Viliam Prodan, Jan Pokos and Slaven Šekuljica in class Rally3, Tomas Hrvatin, Željko Magličić and Igor Mandić in class Rally4 and Igor Tomljanović in class Rally5.
