The Sacrament of Confirmation in the Catholic church concludes acceptance of the sacraments of Christian initiation. The Sacrament of Sacred Confirmation is the sacrament by which the Christian enters the "adult world" in faith, continues the Christian tradition and transmits the light of faith to the new generation.
By baptism the person is born again, by Eucharist is fed with the Bread that gives life and in the confirmation of the Church receives a seal of Christian maturity.
