Regatta Fiumanka in Rijeka

Rijeka and its harbor will again become the venue for numerous sailors on the international sailing event Fiumanka regatta 2019.

This year Fiumanka has a significant 20th anniversary that will be marked by new, interesting events on the sea and at the seaside in period from 6th to 9th of June. Days of sailing and fun in the city's European Capital of Culture are coming. With its sails, this year Fiumanka has also encompassed many different facilities that will attract boaters, businessmen and the media. More than 200 sailing boats and nearly 2000 sailors will gather in Rijeka. Fiumanka strongly promotes Rijeka and Kvarner as a tourist and sport destination.

Several different regattas, each with a special purpose and their own story, will unite their sails in the great 20th Fiumanka. In addition to the humanitarian Rotary regatta and the European media regatta, the big Fiumanka will start on June 8 at noon.

Numerous programs will be held during Fiumanka, while Gat Karoline Riječka and Terminal become a venue for evening concerts.

The winner ceremony will be held on the stage at the Terminal, and the celebration of Fiumank's 20th birthday will end with a great firework.

Because sailing is more than a sport, and Fiumanka is more than a regatta and thanks to its unique approach to the organization, the Rijeka regatta has successfully positioned itself as one of the leading nautical events in terms of attractiveness, number of participants and international recognizability.
