The traditional costumed cultural-tourist event "Days of Diocletian", which is held every year on the city streets, squares and shores of the city of Split, is on the top of exciting summer season of Split.
In that period the time of the 17th century was revived when the Roman emperor, Diocletian, gave his palace to Split. Days of Diocletian became a recognizable manifestation and one of the leading motifs for the arrival of tourists in Split. To give all foreign and domestic visitors an antique experience throughout the summer, this year the Days of Diocletian will last until 21st September.
Everyone enjoys this attractive event, which a city that boasts a unique combination of antique and modern, additionally reveals the irresistible charm of old times. Roman legions are being repaired, the Diocletian, together with the Roman legions and the chariots pass through the seafront and Peristyle, where Diocletian's congregation, together with the family, greetings gathered.
