Tribunj

Tribunj is a small fishing village located just next to Vodice. Tribunj has charm of an authentic, small and picturesque Dalmatian place. The narrow streets and just a small stone bridge that connects the isle to mainland make Tribunj a truly unique and ideal place for peace and vacation. That peace and the idyll are the main qualities of this place, but certainly not the only ones. It is almost impossible to find a location and beach where it won't be so many people, especially in the heart of the season, but Tribunj has no problem with it. Indeed, Tribunj's beaches are ideal for those who come to the beach to rest their body and soul, read the book and enjoy the peace. Unlike overcrowded Vodice, Tribunj's beaches are the perfect place for peaceful holidays. The beaches are mostly pebbled, and the most beautiful beach is Sovlja beach.

Apart from the peace and the beautiful beaches, Tribunj can boast of a quality gastronomic offer. In this small village, there are a large number of authentic taverns and top restaurants. One of the specifics of this place is when fishermen come from the sea, Tribunj's seafront becomes a showcase of fresh crabs and fish that can be bought there or tested later in taverns and restaurants.

The authentic picture of this place makes a wonderful view of Lukovnjak, Logorun, Prišnjak and Sovljak - four islands of the Tribunj's archipelago.

Tribunj is really rich in a variety of programs and that's why attracts a large number of tourists. All sports enthusiasts have the opportunity to enjoy the boating, small football, tennis, diving and sailing school.

As is customary in every other Dalmatian place, there are also two traditional feasts during the summer– Tribunj's night and Fishermen's night. Tribunj is extremely popular with many years of Donkey's races, which attract thousands of visitors every year.
