Milna - Hvar

Milna is a typical small Mediterranean town located on the south coast of the island of Hvar, 4 km from the town of Hvar. It is located in a sheltered bay with beautiful pebble beaches, away from the city's summer hustle and bustle and is an ideal destination for a family vacation.

Milna is one of the oldest Hvar resorts, founded on the very beginnings of Hvar tourism, and its distinctly country atmosphere is confirmed by an old summer house from the 17th century built in the Baroque-Renaissance style, Hvar noble family Ivanic (now owned by the Bozic-Fio family) is located in the western part of the bay.

In Milna there are four spacious pebble beaches, two in the village and two in the immediate vicinity (Vela Mirna, Mala Milna, Velo Borče and Malo Borče). The sea is crystal clear and the beaches are facing south and protected from north winds. Above the beaches itself is a pine forest that provides excellent shade.

Milna is known for its many restaurants that offer fresh fish, homemade olive oil, and traditional Dalmatian specialties and fine wines of the island of Hvar.
