Marina Mitan

Marina Mitan, one of the youngest in Croatia, is in an excellent position within easy reach of boaters from Austria and southern Germany because the airport in Rijeka is only 29 kilometers away. The waters off the marina front are very inviting. The marina itself is located in a relatively small bay at the foot of the eastern part of Novi Vinodolski and is well visited by permanent and occasional boats, yachts and sailboats. It has 180 berths for boats up to 15 meters in length, while megayachts can dock outside the breakwater.

Its architectural design is very intriguing. The architects have received the prestigious award for architecure for this project. Apart from the impressive architecture, the marina is famous for highest quality of construction work performed on the sea part. It is protected by a 240-metre-long breakwater based upon an embankment made up of 70,000 cubic metres or 230,000 tones of stones. The breakwater is porous under the water what enables the circulation and the purity of seawater. Four concrete jetties are 50 metres away from one another what makes the handling comfortable while in front of the waterfront there are premium berths eqipped with fingers which make manoevers easy and the access to the boat possible even from the side. The whole marina is covered with the high-speed Internet service, state-of-the art surveillance system and security.

One of the major advantages of the Mitan Marina is the turnkey management service in the new hangars in the industrial park of Novi Vinodolski only 3 kilometers away. Service shops are linked to the marina, the clients can get winter storage and overall service of boat management and repairs should the need be. The service shop has a long tradition, it is certified for all kinds of repairs and is authorised for service repairs of most renowned brands.
