The road that runs along the eastern coast of the Istrian peninsula, on a 157-meter high cliff above the sea, about twenty kilometers from Opatija, is the picturesque town of Brseč. The settlement administratively belongs to the Municipality of Mošćenička Draga.

In the Middle Ages, Brseč was built on the site of a prehistoric Liburnian fortress and was ruled by the Pula diocese, the Counts of Devinski, the Counts of Gorički and finally the County of Pazin. The old town of Brseč enchants with its narrow streets and small houses with colorfully painted wooden doors. Eugen Kumičić was born there, and you can visit his birthplace. The old town hides other sights, and the most attractive is the tiny Oz Theater, which is also the smallest theater in the world. Viewpoint near the church of St. Magdalene, from which there is a view of Cape Šip and the sea in the distance. Located on a cliff, Brseč offers a view of the Kvarner Bay and the islands of Cres, Susak and Unije.

It's no secret that Kvarner hides some of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic, and one of them is located at the foot of Brseč at the foot of a cliff that carefully protects it. Klančac beach, whose white pebbles and turquoise sea enchant everyone who happens to be there, is only about 40 meters long. A beautiful pebble beach is hidden in the bay and surrounded by rocks.
