Vinistra, one of the symbols of Poreč and Istria, is held outdoors for the first time. After a year break, the attractive Poreč bay Peškera becomes the center of the wine world for three days. The 27th edition of Vinistra, which is of great importance for Istrian winemakers, will be held from 18 to 20 June.
The widespread reputation of the leading exhibition of the wine and other autochthonous agrarian Istrian products such as grappa, olive oil, honey, cheese and prosciutto, confirms the gastronomic importance of these products. Three days of the exhibition are fulfilled with various happenings because Vinistra is not just the local products exhibition, but an event implying professional wine tastings, presentations, and topic meetings as well. This high-quality event unites a record number of wine exhibitors in one place for a few days and makes possible the education and further development of the wine regarding knowledge.
The summer atmosphere, beautiful Poreč and top wines are the best invitation to your favorite wine event. Winemakers can’t wait to meet wine lovers, business partners and guests. Vinistra is the most beautiful start of the summer season in Istria.
The organizers of Vinistra also present one novelty: wine lovers can enjoy Istrian wines in the Morosini Grimani castle in Svetvinčenat, where Vinistra has a point of sale and organizes tastings of top Istrian wines and cheeses on a weekly basis.
