The largest county bicycle race from Zadar to Nin

The start of the largest county bicycle race in Croatia "From Branimir to Branimir" Zadar - Nin will take place on Sunday, April 7 at 11 a.m. from Branimir's bank in Zadar.

The traditional 14th cycling race is 35 kilometers long and is dedicated to the famous Prince Branimir. It symbolically connects Branimir's coast in Zadar with Branimir's coast in Nin and brings together professionals and amateurs, as well as tourists who happen to be in Zadar at that time. The organizers of this event are the County of Zadar and the City of Nin, and the co-organizers are the PU of Zadar, the Institute of Public Health, the Zadar Bicycle Club and the TZ of the City of Nin.

The cycling event was started in 2008 by the Zadar County Health Team with the aim of encouraging a healthy lifestyle and spending time outdoors as often as possible. It is held on the World Health Day itself, which marks the beginning of the County Days.

All participants must come to the bike ride with a correct bike and preferably serviced before the bike ride itself. By registering, you participate in a prize game in which you can win a valuable bicycle.

This year, the HAK is also participating in the implementation of the cycling event, which will set up an info desk with promotional materials, and a small cycling training ground where participants will be able to try out some of their bicycle management skills.

In Nin, a hot meal awaits all cyclists, which will be prepared by the culinary team led by the famous chef Renato Kraljevi.
